One of the things on my list of things to do today is ring the RACV. This is because both Rachel and I paid the membership fees separately, meaning we were $73 out of pocket. This sort of stuff is always a hassle, and you end up spending ages on the phone, on hold, then explaining what happened, getting passed to someone else, explaining again, going back on hold, waiting three weeks for the promised cheque, rinse, repeat.

In an effort to make sure I get none of the items on my list done today, I went and got the mail (among many other useless things), and what was there? A cheque from the RACV. I didn't have to ring them, they automatically produced and sent a cheque as soon as they detected the duplicate. Kudos to the RACV.
